The name represented by this body of parents shall be “Volunteer/Involved Parents” Association of Dominican International School, Kaohsiung, whose name hereafter shall be referred to as VIP, thus replacing the former PTA body.
Purpose
The VIP serves to encourage Parents and legal Guardians to be involved in the School and support its mission in the following activities, including but not limited to:
- Organizing Parent and legal Guardian volunteers to assist in the areas of fundraising, special activities, maintenance of volunteer lists, public relations, and additional duties as needed;
- Assisting the School in obtaining better educational and cultural opportunities for the student body;
- Fostering communication amongst the School community to unite it in thepromoting of the School’s mission and success;
- Maintaining outstanding relationship and work as a team with the DIS, Kaohsiung Family.
